The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful...

A beautiful snow fell today, just enough for it to be beautiful, but not a complete headache. Well, for me, anyway, since I'm still at home after the ol' gallbladder. Today I ventured out briefly and carefully for the first time since the surgery. I'm so glad I did! Usually, I don't look in the fake flower section at our craft store; the flowers are usually not that attractive, and made of plastic, not paper. But I found some adorable ones today that I can't wait to try out on some journals and books.

Hope you have pleasant winter weather in your neck of the woods!

Susan you were obviously meant to venture out today as those flowers are so sweet.
Hope you are feeling better day by day.

Susan,
Hope you are resting and recovering from your surgery. I too had surgery not too long ago and know it takes time for your body to bounce back.
Stay warm and have a great week.

pretty, pretty, pretty inside (the flowers) and out (the snow). Hope you're feeling better though I wonder if a drive in THE SNOW was the best time to get out.

take care,
Dede

Sarah! I had mine out a few months ago too! Scary! One minute you are at the doctors, the next the hospital and the next in surgery. I am glad to hear you had a good experience. Take it easy sweetie! Were they able to do it laproscopically? I hope so! That's a much gentler recovery:) Thinking of you! Love, Jamie
