Also, this enchanting dollhouse has been down there forever. I wanted take a picture of the inside, but that would have involved some real dicey moving around, and I could just imagine everything tumbling around all over me, and my having to explain I was trying to take a picture for you all! Doesn't it remind you of Tara!?
And here is the back - the side you'd sit on. The tiny drawers are gorgeous!!
I'm sorry the pics are so bad, but you get the gist. It was crammed in a corner, for crying out loud - I did the best I could! Girls, it was to die for. If I had one single empty inch in my house I would have thrown it in the back of my car right then and there!! (sigh)
I put some of my absolute favs on etsy today. I hope you like them.
I hope you're having a relaxing weekend. Let me know what you've been up to!

That cupboard is to die for!!--get it, get it! Who says you have to pay $155--haggle a little bit--offer $100, and they'll probably come back at $125. What a great birthday present it would be!
Beautiful stuff for your etsy!
Susan

Ask them what their absolute best price would be!
good luck! Lidy
I love the fact that these treasures are in the basement for goodness sake. At my favorite thrifty place all the best stuff is banished to the basement. I love digging around down there!
Thanks for taking me along for the thrifty "window shopping" trip!
Thanks for stopping by my blog with your comment. You're right ...this internet thing has really amazed me with nice connections more times than I can count.

One of my bestest friends had a doll house similar to that!!! that is sooo funny... I remember us trying to fit Barbie into it!!! LOL! very pretty...
You know, I do the same thing. I find something I like in a shop and I visit it over and over again. It always hurts a little when it is sold but the visits are nice and I just try to imagine that it is mine. I like Susan's idea about haggling. Sometimes they do accept offers especially if it has been there awhile.
Sarah what lovely things you have pictured in this post.
Check out my blog as I have tagged you for 7 Random Things. Hope you can do it. Alison
