"Obey Your Parents. An Unknown Friend"

Yesterday we visited the Grotto of Lourdes, near Frederick , Maryland. It was beautiful as always, except that we seemed to have picked the absolute hottest day of the summer! The thermometer read 113 degrees when we got back in the car! Yikes!

Of course, we had to stop at the antique mall near there on the return home. There is one booth in particular that I love! So many sweet baby things!

But here was one of my favorites yesterday - can you see it? It is from the 1800's; a little book. And the writing on this page reads: "Obey your parents. -- An unknown friend" Truer words were never spoken!

Thanks for stopping by, Sarah. Glad you've been inspired to join us here in the world of blog! I'm really new here too. Only just began about the last week in July!

I also love Clarissa's work. Ran a women's group back in the early 90's using her stories. Keep up the good work--your site is lovely!
